Grace Episcopal Church

Grace Episcopal Church organizes its community outreach ministries under the name of "The Oasis at Grace." We are deeply committed to being part of the neighborhood. College Hill is one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the city both racially and economically. Our congregation, community partners and volunteers are similarly diverse. We are a lay-run church (known in Episcopal circles as "common ministry); we do have ordained ministers as part of our community but they are not "in charge."

We offer a free, take-out weekly community dinner on Weds evenings. Preparing the food happens on Tuesday afternoon and also Weds from noon forward to end of dinner at 7. We also have free grocery store. We offer numerous events in the creative arts with themes of social justice, from concerts, art shows, films and book discussions.
