Peace Baptist Church is a community of believers who strive to Love God, love people, share Jesus, make disciples! our vision is to "be the Salt and Light in all of our Surroundings". Peace Baptist Church is one of many New Testament Churches. While denominational ties and a shared theology can be very important to a local church’s identity, the call to be on mission in partnership with the Holy Spirit is the key value in proclaiming the Lordship of Jesus Christ to a fallen and broken, yet valuable world. In light of this value, Peace Baptist Church embraces a generous doctrinal tradition with people who come from other Christian traditions. Each year we host a Health & Wellness Fair free for the Avondale Community. We partner with businesses and organizations to bring critical resources directly to the neighborhood. Residents are able to undergo health screenings, engage in fitness activities, participate in demonstrations, learn about mental and financial health issues and resources, enjoy food and have fun.
