About our Organization
DCCH was founded in the late 1800's as an orphanage and today is a residential therapeutic program for children who have been removed from their homes due to various types of abuse and/or severe neglect. We provide a safe place to reside 24/7 with staff around the clock to care for the kids. We provide clothing, meals, access to health care services, have an on-campus accredited school, and provide therapy sessions for kids and families.
How our organization engages UC students
Volunteers can help with fundraisers, special events, grounds keeping, painting, and various tasks.
