About our Organization
CCM Performance Management brings CCM performances to the public by managing both patrons as they attend performances and student, faculty, and visiting artists as they perform in one of several venues located in the CCM Village. It is our duty to provide the best possible support to the artists of CCM, and we love doing it!
How our organization engages UC students
We manage both front of house and backstage operations in Corbett Auditorium, Patricia Corbett Theater, Cohen Family Studio Theater, and Robert J. Werner Recital Hall. A key part of bringing these performances to the public is our volunteer ushers who help us to manage the front of house, and provide the best experience to the patrons who come to visit CCM.
If you would like to join this incredible group of students, and see a live performance in the process, peruse the opportunities below, organized according to date and show, and sign up! All call times are one hour prior to the performance, and meet up is at the designated venue in CCM Village.
Dress Code:
- A professional, business casual look is required for all ushers at every performance. You may wear standard concert blacks, but this is not required.
- You will spend a good deal of time standing, please plan footwear accordingly.
- Please do not wear blue jeans (black jeans are permissible), sneakers, t-shirts, or athleisure wear to usher.
- Branded UC or CCM clothing is permitted, but not if it is a t-shirt.
- If you are not dressed in a manner that is acceptable and are unable to change clothes before the house opens, the house manager can and will dismiss you from the current ushering assignment and you will not receive credit.
If you cannot meet the dress code outlined above, UC Bearcat Pantry can help! https://www.uc.edu/campus-life/dean-of-students/bearcats-pantry.html
