We are a community of community gardens and we have an event coming up this Saturday, April 30 from noon to 4:00pm. Global Youth Services Day promotes young people volunteering in their community. Three of our gardens will be utilizing youth volunteers to weed, plant seeds and spread joy...and woodchips. Each student goes home with a free plant or flower. Please spread the word, or send me instructions how I can spread the word. We need volunteers all the time, so even if this Saturday doesn't work, we can assist students in getting in their community service hours any time of the year. Thanks so much, Betty
