Character Council of Greater Cincinnati

About our Organization

The Character Council which serves Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Southeastern Indiana is a nonprofit, 501 (c) (3) organization founded in 2000. The Council is devoted to promoting good character in order to improve the lives of our residents and enrich the spirit of our community. Our Mission: To foster character development in children and adults as a foundation for success. Our Vision: To work with organizations in Greater Cincinnati Region to facilitate positive cultural change, contributing to a society in which: individuals and families are strong, homes and streets are safe, education is effective, business is productive, faith communities are enriched and citizens care for one another.

How our organization engages UC students

We provide character education resources to Schools, Businesses, Community Organizations and Faith-Based Groups to improve their culture through emails, social media and our website.  Student volunteers could work in any of these areas based on their skills and interests.
