About our Organization

Mission Addiction is a Christian, nonprofit organization based in Dayton, Ohio, with nationwide reach. We started in January, 2017. The original inspiration or "calling" came from 3 things:

1) The opioid crisis - Dayton was considered the worst in the country

2) The lack of holistic solutions - physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual, including life purpose

3) The founder's amazing business consulting and volunteer experiences. Volunteering led him to want to share those rewarding feelings with others. Helping others can be "addicting" - it's a MISSION ADDICTION!

From the beginning, people told us our services would help anyone. Mission Addiction teaches and coaches individuals, couples and families how to heal, restore and transform their lives, to become the best version of themselves.

How our organization engages UC students

WHO WE SERVE:

  • Hurting individuals
  • Struggling couples (also engaged and newlyweds, trying to start on the right foot!)
  • Strained families
  • People in recovery from substance or behavioral addictions
  • Anyone looking to improve their life and grow in faith!

The name of our flagship program is the Map for Healing & Recovery, currently offered in overlapping series, starting in January, May and September.

  • Check out the details in the link page and the video with testimonies that help describe it.
  • Classes and discussion cover physical, emotional, relational and spiritual concepts, including life purpose and serving others.
  • Personal coaching and mentoring helps participants apply, practice and “put it all together.” We work with the whole person and whole family, as appropriate.
  • We also offer an optional, faith-changing and life-changing spiritual inner healing prayer for deeper hurts.

The next orientation session (per the link) is either Sep 7 or Sep 9, with classes starting on Thursdays, the 14th. Feel free to join us for orientation, even if it’s just an “fyi.”
