Opportunities From: Center for Community Engagement

The CAIN Choice Pantry offers nutritious food to families in need.  We serve close to 100 guests/families each day our Pantry is open.  We are looking for volunteers to greet guests as they arrive at our Market, and to assist them as they are shopping.  If you speak Spanish, nearly half of our guests are Spanish speaking.  CAIN is committed to respecting the diversity of all of our families and guests, and we work hard to ensure that everyone is treated with dignity and with cultural considerations in mind.

Each Monday afternoon CAIN provides nearly 150 to go meals to community members managing food insecurity.  We are in need of ongoing volunteers who are interested in packaging and distributing meals to hand out to our families/guests. Hours needed are from 3PM-5PM. The ability to speak Spanish is not required, but helpful, as nearly half of our guests are Spanish speaking.

The CAIN Choice Pantry offers nutritious food, hygiene items, diapers and cleaning supplies to families in need.  We serve close to 100 guests/families each day our Pantry is open, and nearly half of our Guests are Spanish speaking.  In order to ensure that all of our Guests are treated with respect and equality, we are looking for Volunteers who are fluent in Spanish and/or able to engage in conversational Spanish to assist guests shopping in our Pantry.  CAIN is committed to respecting the diversity of all of our families and guests, and we work hard to ensure that everyone is treated with dignity and with cultural considerations in mind.
