Opportunities From: Center for Community Engagement

Join us in supporting local nonprofit member organizations serving the Greater Cincinnati community. Volunteers will assist with a variety of event-based needs, including event setup and breakdown, registration tables, greeting guests, distributing materials, light administrative support, and general event assistance.

This opportunity is ideal for students and community members who want hands-on experience while making a meaningful impact. Our member organizations focus on areas such as social justice, health equity, education, environmental sustainability, and community advocacy.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to:
• Gain real-world nonprofit and community engagement experience
• Network with local leaders and organizations
• Support impactful community-centered events
• Build leadership and teamwork skills

Volunteer opportunities will be scheduled throughout the semester based on event needs. Specific dates and times will be shared upon registration.

Community Shares of Greater Cincinnati is seeking multiple UC student volunteers to support social media and communications efforts for our network of 45+ member organizations. Volunteers will help create and schedule content, promote community events and campaigns, and amplify the impact of local social justice organizations. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in nonprofit communications while supporting grassroots and community-led work.
