We are seeking volunteers to provide companionship and social support to individuals receiving hospice care. Your time, conversation and presence can bring comfort to someone during such a vulnerable time.
Examples of support can look like:
Sit and chat with patients about their life, interests, or memories
Read books, poetry, or spiritual texts aloud
Listen to music together or watch a favorite TV show
Play cards or simple games
Offer a comforting presence through quiet, peaceful visits
Help alleviate caregiver stress by simply being there
** No Medical care, or physical assistance is required- just your time, voice and heart!
