Volunteers will help facilitate these discussions, ensuring a fair and engaging experience for all participants. Each match requires three judges, one moderator and room assistant. Volunteer: Dungeons and Dragons - Assistant DMsThe Cincinnati Ethics Center works with several Cincinnati Public Libraries to provide a Dungeons and Dragons experience as an afterschool program. Each table requires a Dungeon Master (DM) to guide players through the fantasy world we've created and guide them through the challenges and adventures they embark on. We are looking for UC students who are interested in engaging with students by DMing the adventures we have created. These adventures are also designed to get players to grapple with ethical dilemmas in the game. Should the party chase the dragon and retrieve the magical weapon he stole or should they stay and put out the fire that could burn down the entire village? We visit several libraries once a week and we bring a team of DMs with us. To participate in the visits to one of those libraries, the time commitment would be 4 hours/week for about 10 weeks. Familiarity with tabletop roleplaying games in encouraged.
