Volunteer: EWB Gikingo Committee Project

The Gikingo committee is one of 3 EWB-UC project committees working on creating water supply systems. Gikingo is a community in Rwanda, just north of Kigali, with a population of around 1000. Before this project, community members sourced water from an undeveloped spring and other unsafe sources. The community desires a system to provide clean and accessible water to improve member's health. Weekly committee meetings work on, planning trips, creating technical documentation, engineering system solutions, and many other critical tasks. No experience is necessary and you do not need to be an engineer.  Join our page on GetInvolvedUC, follow us on Instagram, or emails us at UCEWB.Gikingo@gmail.com to learn more.
