Join us for a fun and delicious quesadilla fundraiser on Monday, March 30th from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Baldwin Hall tables near the front entrance. We’re looking for volunteers to help make the event run smoothly, including warming up quesadillas, dicing meat, plating food, and taking orders or handling money.

Help us plant beds along Vine St and 13th St to beautify Over-The-Rhine! Volunteers will work with 3CDC and Over-The-Rhine Community Housing (OTRCH) to freshen up some landscape beds in high traffic areas of OTR. We'll be weeding, planting, and mulching to create a more pleasant experience for passersby! 3CDC partners with organizations like OTRCH throughout Cincinnati's urban core to create safe, clean & beautiful public spaces for Cincinnatians and visitors to enjoy.

Several opportunities will be available on this date such as repair and building fencing, painting fences, yard work such as mowing, weeding, trimming etc.  Cleaning-dusting arena and stall areas, wiping down surfaces.  

Pick up a shift at UC's ADAAPT Innovation Studio, Saturday or Sunday, all year long!

Represent UC at the DAAP Student Retail Space outside of Findlay Market, where you will help merchandise, network with guests and direct them to individual makers' sales info.  This storefront is dedicated to prototypes or personal lines of various material and methodologies: ceramics, 3D printed work, glass, jewelry, screen printed, etc. Some products come from the industrial design course: Home Grown studio with professor Doehler, and some are from individual brand pop ups. Current students, faculty and alumni are all able to showcase their pieces here and represent the vast network of talented and creative individuals associated with DAAP! Upon registration, Gabi Ragusa (site supervisor) will reach out to confirm your preferred dates and timeframe. 

Available Saturday shifts are AM (10a-1:30p) or PM (1:30p-5p) Available Sunday shifts are AM (10a-1p) or PM (1-4p)

The WWC has a number of beautiful wooded properties along the Ohio River, west of downtown.  One of our biggest tasks is removing invasive plants such as honeysuckle, so that native plants including wildflowers can return.  This is physical outside work, cutting honeysuckle, and putting the cut honeysuckle into large piles.  We do this as members of the WWC, and several times a year we have service groups including UC students help us too.  BUT WE NEED MORE HELP!  There are acres of gorgeous woods just waiting to be set free!

This particular project will be focused on removing honeysuckle, and perhaps some trail repair too.

NOTE:  attached is a file with a lengthy description of the habitat restoration work.

Work 1:30 pm to 4 pm (2.5 hrs) but get 4 hours credit.

This particular Saturday project will be at our Delshire Nature preserve.  Park at the Delhi Swim Club, 202 Felicia Drive, 45238.  You can get to Felicia Drive from Pedretti Ave.

Heavy lifting and other physical exertions are guaranteed to occur during this volunteer opportunity.

You will be helping the Bearcats Pantry offload and sort a pallet of microwaveable meals. 

Dress appropriately. Comfortable shoes and athletic wear encouraged. This will be partially outside, so account for the weather in your attire.

First Aid Volunteers are CPR/First Aid certified individuals and do not have to be licensed medical professionals (EMT, EMS, RN, etc.) but they can be, when available. They administer First-Aid to event participants. The support locations can include start/finish, and along the route.

Using personal photography equipment (can be a cell phone), capture event including team photos, start & finish line photos, sponsors, route photos, & festival area photos. Volunteer Photographers are expected to share full rights to digital media with the MS Society in-kind within 2 weeks of the event taking place.  Does not need to be a professional photographer. Shot lists will be shared.

Unloading trucks and distributing supplies, setting up tents, tables, and chairs,  hanging banners and signage, decorating tents and tables (heavy lifting required ≤50lbs)

In partnership with a staff member or experienced volunteer, marking event route with signage to indicate the direction participants should follow.

Welcoming participants, looking-up participant name, confirming information, answering questions, and taking fundraising. donations. (Background check required for volunteers handling donations)

Setting up/taking down the food and beverage area, set out water and other beverages, serve coffee where applicable (if not self-serve) lay out snacks. Keep area clean.

Setting up/taking down hydration area. Welcoming and encouraging/congratulating participants, serving beverages, icing down beverages and replenishing supplies as needed, keeping hydration area clean.

Setting up/breaking down area with appropriate supplies, managing the area during the event which may include passing out bandanas, Society print materials, speaking to constituents about MS Society. Usually staffed with at least one Staff member.

New area that will feature participant walking bibs for personalization. Used to be called "I Walk for" bibs and was often a part of Registration. Volunteers in the area will need to spot check supplies.

Setting up/taking down Complete the Circle interactive graphic, set up and manage circle stickers and offer instruction to participants on how to fill out and apply circle stickers to graphic.

Ghar Ghar Langar Sewa (GGLS) delivers free meals every day to homeless and vulnerable families in India. We started during COVID and never stopped. So far we have given out over 686,000 food packets and 2,500 ration kits. We also help during floods and run community care centers. Strong submissions may be shared with real partners or used in outreach. 

WHAT YOU WILL WRITE- 3 hours per prompt

Write a letter from the point of view of a volunteer or someone receiving help.
Tell a simple and real story. Describe what a day looks like or what the support means to them. Keep it honest and grounded. Small details make it feel real.
End by thanking the donor and showing how their support makes a direct difference.

Setting up/taking down Circles of Support tent, set up and manage circle fans and offer instruction to participants on what they represent and how to use during the Program.

Roam the site with baskets of Circle of Support circle fans, passing out to all participants and explaining what they are and how to use during the Program.

Provides excellent customer service and registration services for Top Fundraisers, Includes setting up/breaking down TFA Registration, providing check-in and registration services, handing out credentials, answer questions. Background check required.

Help get the Y ready for summer!

We are having a new park shelter built at one of our neighborhood parks. We want to help beauty the landscaping at this park by clearing brush, weeds and trash from the landscaping/ flowerbeds. Also pruning and trimming plants were needed. We may add mulch to some of the areas. We will also participate in a trash walk. Picking up trash along our more traveled streets. Tools/vest will be provided.

This is for the 2026 Cincinnati Science Olympiad which occurred on 3/16/2026. This event is to account for additional volunteer hours worked.

Direct event participants to open parking spots, direct the flow of traffic in parking lot as necessary

Shuttle participants along the route as needed. If driving a vehicle, prior training and approval required. If driving a golf cart, individual must be 16 years of age.

Join us in getting the Bearcats Pantry and Resource Center located at Fishwick Surplus (off campus) ready for spring! Help us plant seeds, spread leaf mulch, and set up a composter. When you arrive, check in with Asha Brogan. You efforts will help by providing food for fellow Bearcats to be distributed at The Market in Stratford Heights Building 16. The weather is changeable and can be cold or hot. Be prepared for: all weather, getting dirty, heavy lifting, digging, squatting or bending over, and getting your own transportation to and from the site. There is ample parking available.

Join us for a hands-on day of neighborhood stewardship at Incline Run, a pedestrian pathway in Cincinnati’s historic Price Hill Incline District. Incline Run is a unique, quiet greenspace connecting the East and Lower Price Hill neighborhoods. Our goal is simple: refresh and beautify Incline Run this spring.

Volunteers will spend the day helping to:

• Remove overgrown weeds and invasive plants

• Pick up litter along the pathway

• Plant new greenery in our artistic planters along the trail

This project is perfect for anyone who enjoys being outdoors, getting their hands dirty, and making a visible difference in a beloved public space. We'll provide tools, gloves, and lunch for volunteers that day. Whether you stay for an hour or the whole day, your help will make a real impact on this unique hillside pathway.

Parking Instructions: 

Use 2570 Maryland Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45204 in your GPS to reach the Incline Run entrance.
Because Incline Run is a pedestrian pathway built from a closed section of Maryland Avenue, vehicles cannot drive onto the trail itself.
The easiest place to park is along the upper section of Maryland Avenue or nearby streets in the Incline District, including:
-Maryland Avenue (north of the trail entrance)
-Mt. Hope Avenue
-nearby side streets
From there, it is a short walk downhill to the Incline Run entrance.

Notable Landmarks Near Project Site: The project site is located near East Price Hills Incline District, the intersection of State Avenue and River Road, and minutes from Downtown Cincinnati.

Bathroom Information: There are no restroom facilities directly on site at Incline Run. Volunteers should plan to take breaks at nearby shops or Price Hill Will offices, 3301 Price Ave. Rides will be provided to non-drivers.

Standing at the finish line to cheer on participants, using noise makers, handing out medals/mementos, often these volunteers are asked to bring encouraging signs(either pre-prepared or from home) or cheering swag (available at volunteer tent) Not required but spirit team generally cheers on participants at start, then helps with teardown/other misc. tasks while walkers are out, then return to finish line to cheer on participants again.

Would you like to make a difference in an inner city neighborhood in Cincinnati? We're helping seniors who can't keep up with the work needed around their houses. We need volunteers to paint, clean out brush, and perform basic repairs inside and outside homes in Avondale.  No experience is necessary, just a willing heart and helping hands!

Please dress in older clothes because you'll get messy!

The Cincinnati Art Museum has invited us to offer a hands-on learning experience at their first "Art on the Rise" event of the season. 
We will be chatting with folks, making seed packets for folks to take home, with planting instructions, and sharing WHY it's important to plant for the bees, butterflies, and birds in our community. 

AKPsi is a professional business fraternity here on UC's campus, and we are looking to donate women's hygiene items to Lighthouse Youth and Family Services, as well as HER Cincinnati Women's Shelter. 

We will be accepting items from Monday, March 23rd through Thursday, March 26th. We will be located at the Lindner Atrium Tables in the Carl H. Lindner College of Business. If you are unfamiliar with the business college, we will be at the large concrete tables that are immediately to your right-hand side after you walk in the front entrance.

Join the MCA A-Team from 10AM-1PM for a workparty to clean up this site ahead of the Canoes & Conversations event in June. We will work to remove pesky invasive plants, pick up trash, and do other tasks to clean up the site and its trails.

Overview
The Corryville Community Development Corporation is seeking community-minded volunteers to help keep the Short Vine business district clean and welcoming. Litter Pickup Volunteers play an important role in maintaining the appearance of the neighborhood by removing trash from sidewalks, bus stops, and public spaces. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy being outdoors and want to make a visible impact in the community.

Volunteer Responsibilities

Pick up litter along sidewalks and curb lines throughout the Short Vine corridor.

Collect trash around bus stops, tree wells, and near city trash cans.

Place collected litter into designated trash bags and dispose of it in nearby city trash cans or directed disposal points.

Report any major issues observed during cleanup, such as overflowing trash cans or illegal dumping.

Follow the assigned cleanup route or zone to ensure consistent coverage of the district.

Volunteer Qualifications

Reliable and able to complete assigned cleanup routes.

Comfortable walking outdoors for extended periods.

By volunteering, you help keep the Short Vine district clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, students, businesses, and visitors. Even a small amount of time contributes to improving the neighborhood’s appearance and sense of pride.

Would you like to make a difference in an inner city neighborhood in Cincinnati? We're helping seniors who can't keep up with the work needed around their houses. We need volunteers to paint, clean out brush, and perform basic repairs inside and outside homes in Avondale.  No experience is necessary, just a willing heart and helping hands!

Please dress in older clothes because you'll get messy!  

Where: Meet at Compassionate Justice Ministry Center, 3494 Reading Road, Cincinnati, OH 45229.

Join us for the 2026 Wasson Way Morning Trail Clean-Up! This event will take place on May 15, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. We can meet on the trail at Burch Avenue near Rookwood’s Whole Foods.

Volunteers will be weeding and mulching all trees on from Madison Rd. to Montgomery Rd.

Wasson Way is a vibrant urban linear greenway trail that spans twelve neighborhoods on the eastern side of Cincinnati, connecting neighborhoods, schools, and recreation areas. Our vision is to transform Wasson Way into a world-class urban greenway that serves as a hub for community activity.

The Bea Taylor Market is a choice food pantry offering clients free food according to family composition, nutritional needs, cooking availability, and tastes. Client choices are augmented by fresh produce, pre-selected meals, and personal hygiene products. Homeless clients receive special boxes with foods that can be consumed without heating.

Volunteer Task: Volunteers will stock shelves, assist customers during their shopping experience, staff the check-in and checkout counters, assist customers to their vehicle with their groceries and load into the vehicle, and perform simple maintenance activities to keep the market clean and customer friendly.

Parking: Park in any of our free spaces on-site. When you arrive, enter through the main entrance of the building (the doors under the WELCOME sign).

Dress Code: Opened-toe, flip flops, and sandals are not permitted. Shirts must have sleeves; t-shirts and short-sleeved shirts are acceptable. Tank tops and sleeve-less shirts are not permitted. Well-fitted clothes to ensure safe movement around machinery and equipment; jeans or shorts can be worn.

Bathroom: Public restrooms available in the facility.

Volunteers will assist with sorting and stocking food items on shelfves  and engage with neigbors by assisting them with food choices who shop at the pantry.

Volunteer Opportunities working with individuals with Down syndrome.  Our iCan Bike Camp will be held July 6-10, 2026 at Harrison High School in Cincinnati.  iCan Bike Camp uses adapted bicycles, a specialized instructional program and trained staff to enable individuals with disabilities to learn to ride a two-wheel bicycle. Riders attend one 75 minute session each day for five consecutive days where they learn to ride while accompanied and encouraged by volunteer “spotters”. Over the course of the week, we continually adjust the bikes in an effort to challenge riders balance as they gradually discover the skill and joy of riding.

Repair Affair is one of PWC's annual volunteer events. Form a small group of volunteers with home repair skills and make a concrete difference in the lives of our low-income neighbors by: Installing handrails, repairing drywall, fixing leaky plumbing, repairing damaged walkways and steps, performing other home maintenance for our clients

Volunteers are certified for 3 off-campus service hours, which count towards UC scholarship requirements.
