Help raise funds to free trafficked women by volunteering at the Cincinnati Aruna Run!

Events: 10K, 5K, 1-Mile, Elite 1-Mile
Date: Labor Day, 9/5
Location: Smale Riverfront Park
Now in its 13th year, the Cincinnati Aruna Run on Labor Day attracts 1200+ people to downtown Cincinnati to run and walk to help bring lifelong freedom to trafficked women. The run is hosted by the Aruna Project, an international human rights non-profit headquartered here in Cincinnati. The best part about the run is that 100% of participant fees and donations go to Aruna's mission of freeing, employing and empowering survivors of human trafficking, both internationally and domestically. Learn more about the cause here.
We could not put on the race without the help of volunteers! There are many roles to fill on race day to ensure everything runs smoothly including:
- Packet pick-up and registration
- Course monitors
- Water stop
- Food tents
- Handing out medals
- Helping with set up and break down
- And more!
Volunteers receive a volunteer t-shirt, breakfast, coffee and an athletic drawstring backpack. The backpack is hand-made by Artisans employed in our Freedom Business, thanks in part to funds raised in previous Aruna Runs.
