Help volunteer at the Bearcats pantry and Resource Center Garden! We would love assistance in providing food for fellow Bearcats.
Address: 5121 Fishwick Dr. "UC Surplus Building." Drive around the right of the Fishwick Building and keep driving until you see the yellow shipping container. That is the garden! Free parking.
You will help with planting, weeding, watering, and other tasks, someone will be available to show you what to do! You do not have to commit to the whole 2 hour period and can include travel time as part of it.
The weather is variable and can be cold or hot. Be prepared for: all weather, getting dirty, heavy lifting, digging, squatting or bending over, and getting your own transportation to and from the site.
