Who wants to be Mr. Tree! Saturday, September 30, 9am-noon. Spend the morning at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden inspiring families about the value of trees. Tree Carnival is all fun and games about trees, bees and butterflies. Kids get a passport and participate in different games that teach how to plant and care for trees, the importance of bees and butterflies, and other valuable information to help families plant their urban oasis. Kids also take a test to get their Planting License and choose a tree to take home.
Volunteer opportunities include helping with games, greeting visitors and yes, wearing the Mr. Tree costume and getting an outrageous number of Tree Hugs.
