April is National Volunteer Month! Join us on Saturday, April 16th for Pay It Forward Price Hill, a community-wide day of service to unify Price Hill through volunteerism and provide a helping hand to neighborhood non-profits.
Price Hill Will is looking for volunteers to assist with interior painting at 'Casa Colina' located at 821 Purcell, Cincinnati, OH 45205
Casa Colina is a residential house which illustrates Price Hill neighbors’ diverse migration stories through a vibrant wraparound mural design of striking blues, golds, and monarch butterflies. The lot at 821 Purcell, once blighted with litter and tall grass, is now an attraction and neighborhood asset drawing residents and visitors to come and see the wonderful works of art. In addition to less blight and a reduction in crime, there has also been a dramatic increase in economic activity and property values surrounding the lot.
Price Hill Will's vision for Casa Colina is for it to be a future home to visiting artists in residence, and other guests, who will continue to grow all the amazing things happening in Price Hill.
Please wear clothes and shoes you don't mind getting paint on. Those with experience with interior painting are encouraged to participate. All volunteers will meet at 821 Purcell. Pizza will be provided!
