Tuesday, September 19th, 2023 - Thursday, September 21st, 2023 will be the dates for the next UC ALL CAMPUS BLOOD DRIVE! The blood drive runs from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday and 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Thursday in the Great Hall of Tangeman University Center (TUC).
We will need the assistance of Student Volunteers to work with Hoxworth staff in order to; be welcoming, helping to direct donors through the donation process, signing up donors for blood drive appointments, assisting donors with basic questions and generally making sure the blood drive runs well.
On Tuesday (9/19) and Wednesday (9/20)
We will need six (6) volunteers on two separate shifts. The AM shift will be from 9:30 AM-1:00 PM and the PM shift will be 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM
On Thursday (9/21)
We will need four (4) volunteers on two separate shifts. The AM shift will be from 8:30 AM-12:00 PM and the PM shift will be 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM
We know this is a long commitment for a day, but also are limiting the amount of volunteer participants. We will contact waitlist volunteers if an opening becomes available. Hoxworth Blood Center Staff will be on-site to help any of the volunteers that are able to give their time to assist.
IMPORTANT: We rely heavily on UC Student Volunteers participating in the blood drive to help make sure other Bearcats have a great experience. If you sign-up to volunteer and have to cancel due to illness or any other reason, please do so as soon as possible, so we can contact other potential Student Volunteers on the wait list.
