Monday, April 12th - Friday, April 16th, will be the dates for the next UC ALL CAMPUS BLOOD DRIVE! The blood drive will consist of two to three blood donor collection buses on McMicken Commons from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. There will be special hours on Wednesday, April 14th from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
We will need some assistance from volunteers to work with Hoxworth staff in order to; help keep donors socially distanced, welcoming and directing donors to the available buses for donations, signing up donors for blood drive appointments, assisting donors with basic questions and generally making sure the blood drive runs well.
We have space for two volunteers to participate for a four (4) hour time frame on two different shifts (early, 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM and late, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM). We know this is a long commitment for a day, but also are limiting the amount of volunteer participants due to COVID-19. Everyone will need to be practicing social distancing protocols and wearing a mask while participating with the blood drive.
Special Note: The UC All Campus Blood Drive on Wednesday, April 14th, 2021 will have special hours and there will only be one three hour shift available from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
