Creative Writing Class

Expired

Description

Our mission is to bring teenagers and adults with and without disabilities together for projects of mutual interest.  We have proudly offered continuing education classes, service projects and theatrical plays to the community for the last 30 years.

We will guide you through several ways of getting started with our own creative writing.  Whether you have an idea for a piece of writing and are just starting, we want to help you build on your creative writing by thinking about autobiography, world-building and short story.  Currently, we have been working on writing a world building story where you create fictional characters.

Volunteers will work with participants with disabilities to facilitate getting words to paper and brainstorming ideas as well as participating in the class.

To help you, and our participants to get the most of the experience, volunteers are asked to read our volunteer handout prior to attending an event.
