Marjorie Book seeks volunteers to work alongside teens and adults with physical and/or intellectual disabilities as we participate in this volunteer opportunity. Volunteers will receive guidance to assist people with disabilities with the tasks required, or simply work in pairs or small groups and converse while volunteering.
The Advent Canned Food Drive at St. Xavier High School collects and delivers non-perishable food items to thousands of families in both Cincinnati and rural Appalachia. The St. X students will be going door to door in northern Kentucky to collect canned goods from residents, and they have invited us to help. We’ll end our time together at Biggbys Coffee, 2498 Dixie Highway, Ft. Mitchell, roughly from 2:45-3:30pm.
This is an outdoor event and is generally quite cold so wear layers of warm clothing.
