This summer, Marjorie Book will be producing William Gleason's comedic murder mystery, Hit and Misdemeanor. We are looking for help - both volunteers who could act in the casts of these plays and volunteers who are willing to help at rehearsals for one, two or three nights in May, June and July. Our cast members and volunteers are made up of people with and without disabilities (typically ages 12 through 90). We frequently need volunteer help with assisting actors in learning lines and standing in for actors who may be absent.
With MBCES staff guidance, we seek college students to assist members with physical, intellectual and learning disabilities as well as members with autism spectrum disorders as we learn lines and blocking for our plays.
Marjorie Book Continuing Education is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to providing opportunities for people with and without disabilities to work together through community service, continuing education and theatrical performances.
Hope to meet you soon!
