Please join us for our inclusive class for people with and without disabilities!
Film is one of the important mediums through which science fiction has become popular with the general public. We'll look at some brief clips from various science fictions films from the 1930s through present day and discuss what we have liked and disliked about the genre and try to understand the general trends within science fiction and film. This class intended for people with and without a background in science fiction, and for people with and without disabilities. There are no grades or tests, just lots of fun!
Taught by Rob Langenderfer.
Marjorie Book seeks UC volunteers to participate in our classes, adding to the conversation and discussion while pairing, facilitating or working in groups with adults with physical or intellectual disabilities including blindness, autism, cerebral palsy, downs syndrome and other learning disabilities. Marjorie Book staff will be on hand to give support and suggestions for working with specific individuals.
