On #MLKDay, honor Dr. King's legacy by working towards creating a more just and equitable society where everyone is valued and respected through service. Service can help bring people together and bridge divides that may otherwise exist. When we help others in need, we can begin to see each other's humanity and put aside our differences. Volunteer to create lasting change in our communities.
Parks Administration Building - Eden Park. Park in lot, enter behind the building.
Volunteers will work with Parks staff to clean up and organize a garage storage space. This is indoors, but in a drafty, dusty area. Volunteers should be able to lift up to 20 lbs, bend and reach with no problem.
Volunteers should be prepared in clothing appropriate for the weather and temperature, long pants and sleeves, close-toed shoes are required. Please bring a refillable water bottle.
