Join members of the Cincinnati Parks Conservation & Land Management team and Groundwork Ohio River Valley for a tree planting at Inwood Park! Large amounts of invasive honeysuckle have recently been removed from Inwood Park and invasive ground cover has been treated, as well. Now it's time to get some native trees in the ground to continue the restoration of this site!
Feel free to register for one or both days. Please note: depending on how much progress we make on Dec 17, we may or may not need volunteers on Dec 18. We will be sure to communicate this with any volunteers who are registered.
Tools will be provided by Cincinnati Parks.
Long pants, long sleeves, and work gloves recommended. Close-toed shoes required. Refillable water bottles are recommended. Cincinnati Parks strongly discourages single use plastics.
The address for Inwood Park is 2308 Vine Street, 45219. However, volunteers may report to the top entrance of the park at Wellington Circle. There is parking available on the street and in the lot.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Brendan Bogosian, Cincinnati Parks Conservation Volunteer Coordinator, at brendan.bogosian@cincinnati-oh.gov or 513.473.2217 (call or text).
