Each year, in early spring, many venture to Ault Park to see the Weeping Willow Blossoms in full bloom. Their breathtaking beauty means so much for parks enthusiasts, and to our dedicated community who help nurture this special tradition for our city. To maintain the health and integrity of the trees, we mulch once or twice a year, protecting the roots throughout the established Willow Tree groves to sustain the groves that have been supported over decades by many volunteers and organizations.
Volunteers should be prepared for the weather, wear long pants and layers (long sleeves), close-toed shoes are required. Gloves recommended, there will be a limited supply on site. Suggested: refillable water bottle - there will be water cooler on site for volunteers to fill a bottle. Cincinnati Parks discourages single - use plastics.
