19th Annual Hunger Walk at the Banks

The 19th Annual Hunger Walk & 5K Run is presented by Delta Air Lines! 

Funds raised support Freestore Foodbank's network of 574 partner food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and community centers that help us provide 41.7 million meals each year to hungry children and families in the tri-state area.

Event Task: Volunteers will assist with setting up the pre-registration tent. Duties include arranging the tables, alphabetizing the information bins, and organizing the t-shirts by size. Once the pre-registration is open to the pre-registered entrants, volunteers will assist them with their racing packet and t-shirt. After the race begins, volunteers will then begin breaking down the pre-registration tent: duties include (packing remaining supplies into their designated containers, disassembling the tables, loading the remaining t-shirts back into boxes, and moving them to the t-shirt sales stand.
