Assist youth ages 5-12 with an art project at Art for a Difference, a one-day workshop that encourages young people to give the gift of kindness and use their creative talents to make a difference in the community!
We will be leading a ceramic art project and canned soup drive in partnership with The Caring Place food pantry to provide hand glazed bowls, meals, and caring messages to community members experiencing food insecurity. The project is inspired by Empty Bowls, a grassroots movement by artists and crafts people around the world to raise money for food related charities and feed the hungry.
Volunteers will help set up, clean up and assist kids with creating their projects. Training provided.
