We need Team Leaders to help lead fellow Bearcats into service at the 2019 Spring Neighborhood Enhancement Program! There will be a mandatory meeting for all team leaders on Thursday, April 25 from 5:30 - 6:30p. Team leaders will help make sure things run smoothly for the Spring Neighborhood Enhancement Program (NEP) on Saturday, April 27 from 8:00a - 2:30p. You should be able to attend both the Team Leader meeting on 4/25 and the event itself on 4/27 to participate.
Perks include:
- 2 additional hours of off-campus community service for the 2019 Spring NEP (for a total of 8 hours)
- A chance to pick the project you will work on before the day of the event
- A special Team Leader t-shirt from Keep Cincinnati Beautiful
- An opportunity to step up as a leader both on and off campus
- The personal satisfaction of having an important role on a special day of service to our community
Duties include:
- Attending a Team Leader meeting prior to the event (Thursday 4/25/19 5:30-6:30pm, lin Teachers College room 633)
- Arriving early to the 2019 Spring NEP event to help set up at 8:00a
- Being a leader for your volunteer team throughout the 2018 Spring NEP event
- Being the point of contact for any day-of communication with your team
- Making sure fellow volunteers have a good experience, work hard, and help meet the needs of the community
The NEP is a 90-day collaborative effort between City departments, neighborhood residents and community organizations. Read more about the NEP here.
