Like bikes? Help students at Hughes gear up for miles of riding throughout Cincinnati by helping out with an “Intersession” that takes place outside of the classroom. Intersession is a week of non-traditional learning at Hughes STEM High School, and students prepare for that special week on Wednesdays leading up to Spring Break. This intersession experience travels all over the city of Cincinnati and challenges students with physical activity and being outdoors. The “HIKES WITH BIKES” is the Intersession is a cool way to connect with kids, and help them understand the value of bicycle transportation and the joy of riding. Not only will students be riding bikes and traveling around this beautiful city, but students will learn bicycle basics with your help.
