This involves cutting honeysuckle, digging up mustard, and removing other invasive plants from an area along Mill Creek in neighboring Wyoming. We will meet at 9:00 and work until 12:00. We will have a brief instruction, supply water and snacks, lunch, and all the necessary tools and equipment. Please wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and long sleeves. A hat is recommended as well. The ultimate goal here is to make a new pollinator-protected landscape for monarchs, swallowtails, bumbles, and all the beloved pollinators. We will also have a Citizen Science/INaturalist component for tracking what we are taking out and assessing what else is nearby.
