You have been added to this opportunity because you have requested your cans to be counted as off campus hours. Since we are a organization that is in UC, we have no control over whether or not these hours are counted as "off campus" but have a way of putting them as off campus so that they can directly be approved by us ASAP.
PLEASE FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW AND WE WILL APPROVE YOUR HOURS:
1. Go to your Volunteer UC Home Page
2. Go to Track Hours
3. Click "Add Hours"
4. For "Hour Type"
- Click "Yes" to "Are these hours in reference to an opportunity you responded to on this site?"
- In the drop down menu, select "Cans For The Cause Can Collecting OFF CAMPUS HOURS" (this should be present because you are added to the event now!)
5. For "Hours Questions"
- Add a couple of sentences as to how you were impacted by this volunteer experience
- Click "Community members outside of the University of Cincinnati"
6. For "Hour Details"
- Add the date
- Add the hours that corresponds to how many cans you brought (5 cans = 1 hour, limit of 5 hours) Please not that we will not be approving absurd amount of hours so please don't put 12 hours or anything crazy!! We have the list from who all turned cans in/how many and have to cross reference it before approving hours :)
7. Add a description
8. Hit "Submit hour entry" at the bottom
