Event Description:

Why do leaves change color and what determines the predominant colors we see in the fall? Join us to enjoy nature's last bold display before the winter quiet.

Task:

We are looking for volunteers to serve as sweeps walking at the back of the group to ensure nobody gets separated while on the hike.

Dates Times and Location

  • Saturday. October 19th, 9:30 am - 11:30 pm Harbin Park, Fairfield (1300 Hunter Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014 )

Weather: 

We will work through light rain but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather.  please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.

 

Accommodations: 

The MetroParks may provide accommodation to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
