Meeting Location: Timberman Ridge - Forest Run MetroPark, 1976 Timberman Rd, Hamilton OH 45013 or 1829 Warvel Rd, Hamilton OH 45013 (We will have signage directing you to the job site)
Tasks: Join our Natural Resources crew for a day of tree planting as we work to expand our native forests! we are looking to plant 175 trees ranging in size from 1-4ft tall. This event is open to both individuals and groups of all ages
- What to Wear & Bring:
- Long pants
- Sturdy, closed-toed shoes
- Weather-appropriate clothing and layers (Warm jacket, rain jacket, hat, extra layer, etc.)
- Sunglasses (Optional; For sun protection during outside activities.)
- Work gloves (Optional; Available through MetroParks.)
- Water bottle
- Snacks
- MetroParks will provide all other tools necessary to complete the tasks for the day.
- Weather: We will work through light rain but cancel for thunderstorms or other severe weather. please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.
