Help us set up, run and tear down the UC Thrift Club Pop Up on February 11th at the DAAP Cafe! **Requires physical labor, lifting heavy boxes**
First shift (10:30-12:00) : Meet us at the DAAP Cafe near the Grand Staircase (reach out to us for detailed instructions if you don't know where that is!) and help us set up the pop-up. We'll drive up to DAAP with U-Haul with our supplies and clothes and volunteers will help us unload, hang and arrange the clothes on racks in the DAAP Cafe. Disclaimer: sometimes we are running behind and we'll arrive later than 10:30 at the meeting spot. Please wait till 11am if you don't see any UC Thrift Exec or text our club Group Me for details!
Second shift (12:00-2:00) : Meet at the DAAP Cafe by the Grand Staircase. Help us run the pop-up by hanging clothes, organizing our stock, and other small tasks.
Third Shift (2:00-5:00) : Meet at the DAAP Cafe by the Grand Staircase. Help us organize, fold, and pack up the clothing. The pop-up ends at 4:00 and then we will carry out all the stock to our U-Haul outside.
***We will need one volunteer to stay over till 6:00pm to go off campus and unload the U-Haul at our storage unit (you will get an extra hour of volunteering and it will count as off-campus hours!). Let us know if you're interested once you arrive for your shift.
