Turner Serves - Ohio River Foundation

Scholars may participate in hands-on environmental restoration projects through the Ohio River Foundation. Their work could include removing invasive species to protect native plants and improve water quality, planting native vegetation along riverbanks to prevent erosion and support wildlife habitats, and assisting with barrier removal to restore natural water flow and promote healthier ecosystems. These activities help strengthen local habitats while contributing to cleaner, safer waterways.
