Opportunities From: Center for Community Engagement

Health looks different for everyone. That's why the Network for Hope is hosting the 5th Annual Live Healthy & Move Health Fair on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 10:15 AM to 2:30 PM at Forest Park (1201 West Kemper Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45240). This free community event brings together health resources, screenings, family activities, community partners, and a day of family fun. Free school supplies will be available while they last (kids must be present to receive their goodies)!

UC Open School (UCOS) is proud to bring together students from Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Physical Therapy to provide the following at this year's event:

Dental School: Health promotion on healthy brushing and flossing, with free dental kits Medical & Nursing: Blood pressure and glucose screening stations Pharmacy: Education on OTC medication uses and differences Physical Therapy: Fall risk evaluations for at-risk patients and daily exercises for pediatric patients

Last year's event drew about 160 attendees, and organizers are hoping for at least 200 this year. This is a great opportunity to build patient interaction skills, work alongside students from other health professions, and give back to the Cincinnati community.

This event will take place outdoors.

Volunteer shifts:

Shift 1: 10:15 AM to 12:30 PM (shift includes setting up) Shift 2: 12:15 PM to 2:30 PM
