Matthew 25: Ministries is seeking professional volunteers to assist with various tasks at our facility. Positions include the following:· 

 Driver [*top priority]  Food Service  Landscaping  Maintenance  Processing station leader

To be “active” in the Professional Volunteer program, individuals commit to volunteering once a month in one of these capacities. They are welcome to volunteer additional shifts, as either Professional or regular volunteers. Working with Matthew 25 as a professional volunteer will help students to earn service hours, enhance their resumes and/or graduate school applications with volunteer activities, and gain valuable life skills. 

Volunteer – at our 168,000 square foot warehouse on Kenwood Road in Blue Ash, OH. 

Volunteer Hours:

Monday - Friday

9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

 

Saturday (pre-scheduled groups)

9:00 AM - 11:00 AM or

11:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Saturday (individual walk-ins)

1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

 Volunteers perform a variety of activities in the Processing Center, mostly of a non-stressful physical nature.  Volunteers would be helping to evaluate, sort and process various supplies, participating in activities such as:

 

Evaluating, categorizing and processing new or gently used clothing Sorting, matching and sizing shoes Assembling personal care, education and first aid kits Sorting plastics for recycling Distressing or removing labels from clothing Removing products from retail packaging Sorting and reblending paint Separating and blending liquid soaps Sorting and processing sanitary supplies

 

There are family-friendly volunteer stations as well as stations to accommodate various special needs.  Volunteers should wear comfortable, close-toed shoes, clothes they don’t mind getting dirty and would not be devastated if they got a small tear or spot.  Layering is recommended in the colder months.
