Volunteer: Kickoff Picnic for Sunday 11:30am Community Meal

Meet and serve people on the margins in our OTR community through a Sunday grill out/picnic on May 17 served at Prince of Peace Church, 1528 Race Street.  Arrive at 10:30am to help with setup, serve from 11:30-12:30, help with clean up and depart by 1pm.  Serve and interact with guests.   A listening ear is key to connecting them with the many forms of support available in the OTR community.  Volunteers work 2.5 hours.  Program leader Samantha "Sam" O'Connor.

Meet and serve people on the margins in our OTR community through a Sunday morning breakfast open from 6:30-8:30am at Prince of Peace Church, 1528 Race Street.  Setup team arrives from 5:30-6:00am.  Doors open to the public at 6:30am.  Prepare food, serve and interact with guests, help with clean up.   A listening ear is key to connecting them with the many forms of support available in the OTR community.  Volunteers may work 2-3 hours, negotiable with program leader Pastor Larry Devereaux.
