Support social media campaigns by drafting posts, creating flyers, or short recap videos.

Take photos/videos at events and assist with media coverage coordination.

Help manage email lists and outreach to UC students to increase participation.

Time Commitment: Flexible, with 3–5 hours weekly leading up to key APNET events (AfriFest, Symposium Gala, Summer Youth Program).

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for communicating effectively with the Board and providing, in a timely and accurate manner, all information necessary for the Board to function properly and to make informed decisions (bylaws, code of regulations, and governance)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serves as the note-taker for the organization  Prepares minutes and attendance record of all Board of Directors meetings, and committee meetings thereof, maintaining these records at the Chapter Prepares and updates the calendar of Chapter activities.  Assist with other administrative tasks as needed. 

Requirements •Must be dependable and punctual • Be courteous and personable • Be self-directed, willing to take initiative, and detail-oriented • Respect and maintain confidentiality of APNET 's members, staff, volunteers, partners, and donors • Computer skills are desired, but not required
