Volunteer: Radio Reading Services, CABVI's Radio Station, Needs a Board OperatorCABVI's Radio Reading Services is in need of a Board Operator. Knowledge of or ability to learn radio production. Ability to speak clearly and concisely. Here is the Job Description and Qualifications: Engineering assistance to record and edit programs for our radio broadcast and podcast channels, covering a shift of 2-4 hours weekly. May include the following responsibilities: · Prepare playlists. · Record and edit audio files. · Upload podcasts to our podcast channels. · Interact with volunteers to record readings and ensure a quality program as well as a positive volunteer experience. · Skilled in using computers, iPads, audio boards, and editing software. · Help record volunteers’ service time promptly, according to CABVI procedures. · Make a six-month commitment to Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CABVI). Qualifications: Knowledge of and experience in radio production, audio editing (Audition software preferred), and broadcasting. Ability to speak clearly and concisely. CABVI volunteers must pass a background check and abide by a signed conduct and confidentiality agreement.
