Volunteer: Design Company Annual Report

Guiding Light Mentoring is seeking a volunteer to help create and design their 2024 annual report. The report will include program services, total youth served, financial information, etc. from 2024. 

Responsibilities include:

Design Layout: Create a cohesive visual layout for the report that includes a cover page, table of contents, and sections for text, images, and graphs. Ensure the design aligns with the organization's branding guidelines.

Integration of Content: Integrate provided text and images into the layout, ensuring all elements are well-organized and easy to navigate.

Revisions and Deliverables: Provide up to three rounds of revisions based on feedback from the organization to ensure the final product meets expectations. Deliver a print-ready PDF version of the Annual Report and an editable version (if applicable) for future updates.

Collaboration: Work closely with the organization to understand the key messages and themes that need to be communicated in the report.

Experience: Experience in designing reports or publications is highly desirable.

Social Media Manager Description:

Manage and oversee all social media platforms/content Manage and create content for company's newsletters Create marketing content and strategies for company events/programs Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information

 

Social Media Manager requirements and qualifications:

Experience using social media for brand awareness and impressions Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices Adequate knowledge of web design, publishing, and web development Excellent multitasking skills Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Team player Good time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills Seeking degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, Public Relations or a related field
