Tip 8: Keep Track of Time

Tick...Tick...Tick.

How many volunteer hours do you have on the clock?

It is simple and important to track overall volunteer hours.

Notification of Need Response

When a volunteer responds to one of your needs, an automated notification goes out to your agency/program managers and to anyone listed as an additional notification recipient. This notification shows the need title, volunteer name and email address, and any details and additional notes that the volunteer provided on the need response form. The volunteer also receives a notification confirming their need response.

From there it is super easy to track Volunteer Hours and overall impact!

After volunteers have fulfilled their volunteer responsibilities, they will receive a reminder email from our system to submit their hours to agency managers for approval. As an agency manager, you will receive an email when someone has submitted hours for approval. Go to time tracking and approve/deny hours based on who attended.

Pro Tip: Keep a record of who shows up to your volunteer opportunities.
