Established in 2014 and nested within the University of Cincinnati’s College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services (CECH), the IDD Education Center offers a vibrant and engaging learning experience that enriches lives and launches careers. Our inclusive community offers access to UC facilities and guidance from committed faculty, staff, and peer mentors who are passionate about the gifts and abilities of every individual. The IDD Education Center provides meaningful, life-changing experiences for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through innovative research, education, and services.
How our organization engages UC students
The IDD Education Center provides programs for teens and adults with disabilities to increase independence through vocational skills development, social skills development, health & wellness, and life-long learning.
