About our Organization
As an independent 501(c)3 non-profit affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, the Reds Community Fund (RCF) is dedicated to improving the lives of
underserved kids by leveraging the tradition of the Cincinnati Reds through baseball, softball, education and community building initiatives. The
RCF provides free baseball, softball and education programs to thousands of kids at the P&G MLB Cincinnati Reds Youth Academy, as well as
through the introductory Reds Fun At Bat program, Reds Youth Baseball and Softball Funding network and developmental RBI program. The
RCF also partners with urban neighborhoods via the regional Field Renovation program and annual Reds Community Fund, P&G, Cincinnati
Children’s Hospital, Cincinnati Zoo, GE Community Makeover efforts.
How our organization engages UC students
The Reds Youth Academy provides free, year-round baseball and softball training programs
to youth ages 4 to 18. It also provides underserved children the opportunity to become
better students and more well-rounded individuals with educational and vocational
activities. Academy programming brings education and sport together to provide an
opportunity to level the playing field. Academy participation is intended for those who
wouldn’t otherwise have access to these types of resources.
