About our Organization

 

The Cincinnati Park Board manages over 5,000 acres of land composed of 5 regional parks, 7 river parks, 68  neighborhood parks, 33 nature preserves, 5 parkways, 11 gateways, 13  business districts, 5 nature centers, 90,000 street trees, the much-beloved Krohn Conservatory, and 5 overseas gardens. It is estimated that over 5 million people visit our Cincinnati Parks annually.

How our organization engages UC students

The mission of the Cincinnati Board of Park Commissioners is “to conserve, manage, sustain, and enhance parks’ natural and cultural resources and public greenspace for the enjoyment, enlightenment and enrichment of the Cincinnati community.”
