SAICS is a student-led initiative empowering South Asians in psychology, neuroscience, and cognitive sciences by building a sense of community, increasing representation, and strengthening presence in healthcare overall.
Our organization engages with UC students by hosting various workshops, events that involve guest speakers, as well as social events for the general body to debrief. Our mission is to provide financial and social support to underserved communities as well as raise awareness about career opportunities and cognitive mental health within South Asian communities.
