A Kid Again at The University of Cincinnati

A Kid Again is a nonprofit national organization that aims to help children with life-threatening illnesses and their families momentarily forget about their struggles with illness through destination-based events! A lot of families who have a child struggling with a serious illness have to allocate most of their time and funds towards providing treatment, making it difficult for them to have opportunities to enjoy worry-free fun. A Kid Again aims to alleviate some of that stress!

UC students will join in on adventures organized by the Southwest Ohio chapter to create magic by doing anything from face painting to setting up sensory friendly rooms at the destinations. Not only are these events a great way to gain volunteer hours, but you also get to experience bringing joy into the lives of kids and their families who really need it! Club meetings will discuss planning these adventures and fundraising so that we can help these events happen at no cost to A Kid Again families!
