The Paw in Hand Project

We temporarily house pets until their owner is able to be back up on their feet or until they are safe to bring the pet back into their homes. These people are people who have been in domestic violence situations, may be dealing with homelessness, or substance abuse.

Our organization can engage UC students to connect with an animal or a human. We can help students get out of the UC bubble for a little and play with a dog/ take them on a walk. They could also help transport a dog to and/or from vet appointments.
