Funds For Ashes

Our mission is to help struggling families say goodbye to their lost loved ones through a partnership with non-profit organizations that support those who can’t afford funeral or cremation services.

We are a UC Student Organization devoted to raising awareness and fundraising for families who cannot afford to honor their loved ones due to disproportionate funeral and cremation expenses. We host free celebration of life events on campus where students can participate in fun activities while learning about issues surrounding funeral cost disparities and how they can help. We also host fundraising events to raise money for various non-profits which align with our mission to help families in need who cannot give their loved ones a proper goodbye.
